Patricia Secco is a Brazilian visual artist from Rio de Janeiro who has been painting for as long as she can remember.

Her relationship with art began in childhood, through observing the colors, shapes and movements of the natural world around her. The richness of the Brazilian landscape — its vegetation, flowers, light and contrasts — remains one of the main sources of inspiration in her work today.

Trained as an architect in Rio de Janeiro, Patricia worked with names such as Paulo Casé and Luis Acioli before dedicating herself fully to the visual arts. She lived in the United States, where she studied at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., and also spent time in France — experiences that broadened her perspective and became part of her artistic language.

For more than three decades, she has developed a body of work characterized by color, freedom of gesture and a deeply personal connection with nature. Her paintings move between the figurative and the intuitive, transforming flowers, landscapes, forms and memories into vibrant yet delicate compositions.

Throughout her career, Patricia has exhibited in Brazil and internationally, with exhibitions in cities including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, New York, Washington, Miami, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin and Lisbon. She has also participated in international exhibitions and events, including the Florence Biennale and Art Basel Miami, and has received awards and honorable mentions for her work.

Her work has also been featured in publications and media including O Globo, Veja, Vogue, Jornal do Brasil and TV Globo.
