She participated in the famous Florence Bienalle in 2005, and has won numerous awards and prizes throughout her career. Her art has been published in countless publications, including NYArts Magazine and Vogue Brazil, and books. Patricia currently resides in Rio de Janeiro.
“Patricia Secco’s beautiful surfaces remind soft silky fabrics, where colors are not what we think they are, and their values depend on the direction and quality of the light affecting them…”

“At a first glance, “Masks” expresses Brazil’s typical face. A more careful look reveals the impermanence of disguise, where we are not all equal whether close or distant. It goes beyond disguises. The tributes are exposed, in a Brazilian dialogue with Brazil and its people…”

“On the screen the artist simply puts his soul. Patricia Secco does that in an even simpler form, mixed in thousand paints. Her beauty, class, culture and a great talent…”
